Personal Finance: From light touch to qualification
The entitlement for economic wellbeing and financial capability was introduced to the secondary curriculum from September 2008. ASDAN offers a wide range of qualifications and non-accredited programmes that cover personal finance, for learners of all ages and abilities.

Programmes
The Personal Finance Short Course is one of ASDAN's popular and successful Short Courses. It accredits up to 60 hours of activities in financial capability and economic wellbeing. In July 2007, the Short Course book and Teaching and Learning Resource Pack were awarded the pfeg Quality Mark.

Qualifications
The main qualification that ASDAN offers is the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) through Personal Finance at Levels 1, 2 and 3.
