ASDAN Programmes
ASDAN offers a wide choice of flexible, activity-based curriculum programmes that can be used in a variety of educational settings with learners working at a range of levels.
ASDAN Personal Development Programmes and the Universities Award offer imaginative ways of developing, recording and certificating young people’s personal achievements. Students are required to carry out challenges over 60, 120 or 180 hours and recognise their skill development.
The Excelsis Award is a high-level skills development programme especially designed to suit the independent sector.
There are more than 25 Short Courses available, offering accreditation for up to 60 hours of activity in subject areas ranging from Personal Finance to Volunteering. Key Steps offers a programme of activities for the 10-14 age group in topic areas including PSHE, Enterprise and Internationalism.
For young people aged 7-12, the Stepping Stones programme is designed to support Citizenship and PSHE, while Lift Off! is a series of exciting projects that can be delivered over 10 sessions, perhaps as an after-school club.
The stand-alone Development Resources are available for any centre to deliver and are designed to encourage skills development, particularly in preparation for the workplace.
