International centres
To operate ASDAN programmes, awards or qualifications effectively, all international centres need to attend an ASDAN-run training event/workshop in the UK. ASDAN offers a rolling programme of such events throughout the year (see Training & Events section for full details) and we would require staff from all overseas centres to attend one of these training events as a precursor to introducing any of the ASDAN courses.
If this is not possible, ASDAN may consider organising an in-house training event for the centre(s) in their own country. This would be led by a member of senior staff within ASDAN. The charge for this would be £1,000 per day (plus VAT, if applicable) and we would need to take into account the time involved in preparation, planning and travelling to and from the country, as well as the time spent actually running the training events. Typically, such events require a day's travel to and from the country, plus two days for planning, preparation and follow-up after returning to the UK. This time needs to be added to that taken up by the actual training event. Travel and accommodation costs would be in addition to the fee for staff time.
Please refer to the ASDAN International Centres Fact Sheet for further information and guidance on the registration process.
