ASDAN Contributions to Diploma and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) Developments

ASDAN is a Component Awarding Body (CAB) for the Diploma, offering: 

• Additional and Specialist Learning - the following qualifications are approved and listed in the ASL catalogues for all lines of learning:
  • Personal Effectiveness qualifications (AoPE Levels 1 & 2 and CoPE Levels 1 & 2 and CoPE Level 3)
  • Community Volunteering Qualifications (Levels 1-3)
  • Employability qualifications (Levels 1-3)
  • Personal and Social Development qualifications (PSD Levels 1 & 2)

• PLTS curriculum development programmes to support the teaching and learning process. Two Development Courses and two Record Books have been devised (see below).

• PLTS assessment options, chosen by Diploma Consortia Partnerships
