Key Skills and Basic Skills in Adult Literacy and Numeracy (ALAN)
ASDAN is now able to offer online tests for Key Skills and Basic Skills (Adult Literacy and Numeracy/ALAN). Centres are given access to a web-based administration system which allows them to schedule and administer tests for their candidates without the need to contact ASDAN beforehand.
New candidates must be registered using our online system ONLY.
Candidates access the tests via secure software. They are able to take a practice test beforehand, giving them the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the on-screen features before taking the live test. Once a test has been completed, the results are displayed immediately and the supervisor/invigilator can print out a provisional results slip if required.
The results of the test are automatically sent to ASDAN and the certificates/notification slips and confirmation of results report will then be sent out to the centre.
