Briefing Seminars are designed to provide senior staff with an overview of ASDAN's Programmes and Qualifications, as well as introducing new programmes and initiatives.

Summer Briefings: Building a Culture of Achievement
These events for school leaders will explore how skills development qualifications positively impact on wider achievement, specifically GCSEs:
- Thursday 3 May: National Railway Museum, York
- Thursday 10 May: Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton
- Friday 11 May: Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Fleet Street, London
Key speakers will show how their programmes engage learners, help them progress, raise their aspirations and celebrate all their achievements:
- Marius Frank, CEO ASDAN, with representatives from the Bristol Centre for Research in Lifelong Learning, UWE, will report on the findings of research into the impact of the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) qualification on academic attainment.
- David Hemery*, CBE and Olympic champion, will talk about the inspirational coaching programme provided by 21st Century Legacy.
- Andrew Chubb, founder of Modern Baccalaureate, will describe how schools are using the framework to transform learner outcomes.
- Prof. Sonia Blandford and colleagues, will explain why Achievement for All has been so successful in accelerating progress amongst SEND learners in mainstream and special schools.
