Who is this workshop for?

  • Volunteer-involving and -promoting organisations

  • Providers of adult training, including FE colleges and voluntary sector training organisations

What is the CVQ?

The Community Volunteering Qualification recognises the general skills and attributes that volunteers (aged 14-80+) need to perform their roles effectively. It encourages volunteers to reflect on their experiences and improve what they do. It reinforces good practice and contributes to the Investing in Volunteers Standard.

The CVQ is listed in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and carries points in the School and College Achievement and Attainment Tables.
