ASDAN Programmes: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Short Courses Workshops
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for practitioners interested in extending and accrediting curriculum enrichment activities for the 14-19 age group through the Bronze/Silver, Gold programmes or Short Courses.
What are the ASDAN Programmes?
The Bronze/Silver, Gold and Short Courses offer imaginative ways of developing, recording and certificating a wide range of personal qualities, skills and achievements of young people, as well as introducing them to new activities and challenges.
The Award Programmes can be used with students across all ability levels and link to nationally recognised qualifications, which contribute to attainment tables.
Workshop structure and objectives
This workshop will give you all the information you need to introduce and develop the appropriate programme in your establishment. Practical details and case study examples will be provided to help you run the programmes.
Workshop sessions will be led by staff who have extensive experience of running various ASDAN programmes with young people of all abilities, and who also understand the management and administration issues involved.
The workshop will also explore how these programmes can contribute towards GCSE-equivalent accreditation, through qualifications such as the Award of Personal Effectiveness (AoPE).
Workshop cost (full day)
£190 for first delegate
Additional delegate rate: £135
