Centre registration

Centre registration 2008-2009:

To register for any or all of ASDAN's programmes or qualifications there is an annual centre registration fee of £195 + VAT (£224.25) (from 1st September 2008 to 31st August 2009).

This annual fee covers your membership with ASDAN and provides your centre with access to:

  • High-quality, personalised support and advice from your Area/Regional Advisor and Central Office
  • The full range of ASDAN courses, including new Awards and qualifications developed in the last year
  • A UK-wide series of network/moderation meetings and external quality assurance
  • The full range of ASDAN publications and materials, available to order
  • Regular mailings and updates
  • Protected areas of the website for sharing good practice and downloading information

To register for ASDAN Short Course Awards, Stepping Stones and Key Steps only there is a reduced annual centre registration fee of £55 + VAT (£63.25) (from 1st September 2008 to 31st August 2009).

This reduced annual fee covers your membership with ASDAN and provides your centre with access to:

  • Purchase ASDAN publications and materials for Stepping Stones, Key Steps and Short Courses Awards.
  • Support and advice from your Area/Regional Advisor and Central Office
  • Regular mailings and updates
  • Access to protected areas on the website for sharing good practice and downloading information
  • Online Candidate Registration for Certification

Centre registration from September 1st 2009:
To help with your centre’s budget planning, we are giving advance notice of the annual centre fee for 2009/10. To register for any or all of ASDAN's programmes or qualifications there will be an annual centre registration fee of £250 + VAT (£287.50) payable in September 2009. The reduced annual centre registration fee - to register for ASDAN Short Course Awards, Stepping Stones and Key Steps only - will be £75 + VAT (£86.25).

Training/INSET

Prior to registration a representative from the centre will need induction training at an ASDAN workshop. One-day workshops offer training on implementation, assessment and quality assurance. For information on workshops, click here

Alternatively, it may be possible to organise INSET/Consultancy - please contact James Mead: (0117) 954 3966 for more information. Please note though that colleagues who deliver training are practitioners themselves, so advance notice and flexibility over dates is appreciated.

All ASDAN Networks offer extensive support for colleagues delivering ASDAN programmes through:

  • Area and Regional Contacts
  • Central Team and Programme Advisors

Website and access to Secure Areas

Registered centres will have access to protected areas on the ASDAN website, which offer:

  • Updates
  • Online Candidate Registration (where available)
  • Dates of Local Meetings and Events

You will be issued with a log-in and password to access these areas (provided an email address is given on registration).
