ASDAN is an education charity and awarding organisation providing courses, accredited curriculum programmes and regulated qualifications to engage, elevate and empower young people aged 11 to 25 years in greatest need.

Finance Officer

We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer for an 18-month period to cover a maternity leave, the extended period to enable full handover and opportunity to work alongside the existing Finance Officer before their leave commences. 

As well as working within a friendly, helpful team, the role offers an opportunity to really make a difference. During the contract term, the applicant will have the opportunity to play a key part in the transition from our current finance system to a new finance system, which is a fantastic development experience. The Finance Officer will also provide financial support to a variety of accounting functions including assisting with data input and the production of monthly management reports. 

  • This post is based at ASDAN’s central office in St George, Bristol (remote working presently)
  • Salary: £22,300
  • Fixed term 18 month contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Centre Support Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Centre Support Assistant to the ASDAN CST (Centre Support Team). Reporting to the Charity and Member Services Manager, the Centre Support Assistant will support the CST with the administrative and customer service duties required to meet the needs of members, prospective members and other stakeholders of ASDAN.

This is an exciting position which provides an excellent opportunity for someone to join a successful organisation with a strong ethical vision and values.

  • Salary: £20,200
  • Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

External Moderator: Extended Project Qualification

ASDAN is seeking to appoint external moderators for the ASDAN Level 3 Extended Project Qualification. External Moderators are responsible for moderating centre marking, conducting and documenting moderation, and carrying out quality assurance and advisory activities with centres, in line with the requirements set out by ASDAN and the regulatory authorities. The External Moderators will provide advice and guidance to centres on moderation and marking of internally assessed work and provide feedback on the processes and procedures that contribute to the continuous improvement of centre practice.

ASDAN is seeking to appoint a Principal Moderator for the ASDAN Level 3 Extended Project Qualification. The Principal Moderator, supported by ASDAN’s Compliance Manager, oversees the moderation process, which is carried out by a team of trained and standardised external moderators on behalf of ASDAN.
