  • 2 .   Be able to use hardware and software to create digital image.

Assessment criteria

(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)

The learner can:

  • Identify and simply describe at least two different types of digital image and how it is used
  • Search for examples on digital images within a given topic independently


  • Use different types of hardware to create a digital image, i.e. digital camera, scanner and/or computer
  • Use editing software to create and/or edit a digital image; i.e. image manipulation such as resizing, cropping, adding new element
  • Create and save a created digital image using Paint.Net. etc
  • Use their skills and knowledge to create 3 versions of the same image with each image with a clear difference
