ASDAN grant applications now open

ASDAN is a registered charity and as part of our charitable objectives we have established a fund to provide grants to our registered centres. Each year, ASDAN designates a percentage of any surplus funds generated in previous years towards the grants scheme. The total amount available for grant funding is around £30,000.

ASDAN registered centres offering or intending to offer ASDAN programmes and qualifications can apply for grants for educational purposes – especially where these help narrow the gaps in educational attainment and alleviate the effects of deprivation and poverty across the UK and overseas.

Registered centres, whether in the UK or overseas, can apply for a grant, except those who have received a grant from us in the last two years. We give our funds to ASDAN centres that are looking to work in an innovative way, within the framework of ASDAN's vision and values, to improve the life chances of disadvantaged young people in this country and overseas.

Projects from previous years have included setting up a school radio station; growing and selling fresh produce; visiting partner schools in Europe; and purchasing equipment for animation workshops.

Grant applications for 2017 are now open and will close on 31 January 2017. Visit www.asdan.org.uk/about/asdan-grants for further information and to submit your grant application online.
