ASDAN is hosting a free event in Manchester in March on how our new Accelerating Progress courses and Lift Off programme have the potential to boost learners’ progression and raise attainment.

Accelerating Progress courses in English and mathematics have been created to help learners secure a grade 4 or 5 in the new, tougher GCSEs in England. These online courses can be seamlessly delivered alongside students’ core curriculum.

Accelerating Progress courses have been developed by experienced practitioners who have a proven track record in helping learners gain a pass at GCSE.

The courses can also be used to help students secure a pass in the new GCSEs in post-16 education.

Boost transition through Lift Off

The Lift Off programme aims to help learners make a successful transition from primary to secondary school. It can be delivered by secondary schools in partnership with feeder primary schools.

Lift Off was created following an 18-month research project and pilot, which showed that pupils who undertook the programme made a more confident start at secondary school, developed a greater appreciation of the value of education and learned how to take ownership of their learning.
