Spring term training workshops now available for booking
Practitioners aiming to deliver ASDAN courses can book their place on an introductory training workshop.
Run by experienced trainers, the workshops take place in February and March, covering:
- the structure and content of the courses
- the assessment model and evidence requirements
- guidance, resources and support available
- administrative and quality assurance procedures for qualifications
Training is mandatory for ASDAN qualifications and is highly recommended for ASDAN programmes.
The ASDAN programmes workshop covers:
- Personal Development Programmes (Bronze, Silver and Gold)
- Short Courses (more than 30 titles)
The Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) programmes workshop is aimed at educators working with learners who have special educational needs and disabilities. The PfA workshop focuses on the following courses:
- New Horizons
- Transition Challenge
- Towards Independence
- Lifeskills Challenge
Separate workshops are available for the following qualifications:
- Award and Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE)
- Personal and Social Development
- Personal Progress
Centres can request an INSET to provide in-house training at your centre, customised to the needs of your organisation.
Further workshops will take place in the summer term.
