Comprehensive resources will support high quality PSHE provision

ASDAN’s new PSHE materials include an updated student book and a tutor resource pack, supporting the delivery of engaging and motivating lessons.

The course meets the requirements of government guidance on sex, relationships and health education, which becomes statutory across England in September 2020.

Accrediting PSHE activity across 11 topic areas, modules include:

  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Keeping safe and healthy
  • Social media
  • Tobacco and drugs
  • Sexual health

Aimed at young people of all abilities aged 13 to 16, the course can be completed using the student book or online through ASDAN’s e-portfolio system.

Using ASDAN’s popular Short Course format, learners complete challenges, presenting evidence of their achievement in a portfolio that’s internally moderated by the centre.

High quality resources

The tutor resource pack enables the delivery of PSHE lessons by non-specialist teachers as well as subject specialists.

It contains 210 resources: 63 session plans; 118 supporting resources (eg worksheets); and 29 PowerPoints. The pack can be purchased as a complete resource and by individual module.
