- Identify each system of the motorcycle and identify its constituent parts
- Use tools safely and appropriately wearing any PPE in line with health & safety guidelines
- Use correct technical data when carrying out maintenance
- Remove panels and parts prior to carrying out routine maintenance where necessary
- Inspect components during basic maintenance and where required, repair, replace, adjust and lubricate
