ASDAN membership includes staff training and access to a flexible range of programmes and qualifications, supporting delivery and learner progression at every stage.

If you join or renew with ASDAN from 1 April 2026, your membership is part of our streamlined, inclusive model, bringing together everything you need to deliver ASDAN within one clear structure.

Supporting learners across all ages, abilities and settings through practical, skills and portfolio-based approaches – with the flexibility to expand delivery as needs evolve.

Training included within membership

Train as many colleagues as you need at no extra cost (excluding INSET sessions), whether onboarding new colleagues or strengthening delivery as courses evolve.

Supporting your learners

We offer accredited curriculum programmes and UK-regulated qualifications for learners working from pre-Entry to Level 3. These help learners to:

develop personal, social and employability skills
build confidence and independence
progress into further education, training and employment

Every application begins with a conversation. Once your centre is approved, you can start delivering ASDAN courses and access training and support straight away.

Become a member

Process for becoming an ASDAN member

Complete and submit an expression of interest.
An education development partner will contact you to discuss your organisation, learners’ needs and intended delivery. They will also advise which membership band is likely to be the best fit.
Your EDP will guide you through completing the application form, including confirming which ASDAN courses you wish to deliver.
As part of the application, you will be asked to provide key information, including:
- details of key contacts
- relevant policies (eg safeguarding, health and safety, GDPR)
- explanations of your internal processes (eg enrolment, assessment)
Once submitted, your application will undergo quality assurance checks. During this stage, you may be asked to provide additional documentation or evidence to support your application.
When all requirements are met and payment is received, your centre will be approved.

You will receive login details for the ASDAN website and will be able to:

book training
order resources
register learners on the courses you have been approved to deliver

This process can take as little as one to two weeks, provided all required information is supplied promptly. Once an application is submitted to ASDAN, all requirements must be met within six months. If this timeframe is exceeded, the application will expire and a new application will need to be started.
