  • Collect and sort items by type, size, or colour (e.g. leaves, apples, pinecones, vegetables)
  • Count or match up to five or 10 items using objects, pictures, or symbols
  • With support, compare sizes or weights (e.g. which pumpkin is heavier, which apple is smaller)
  • Take part in a measuring task using cups, spoons, or jugs during a cooking or making activity (e.g. soup, apple crumble)
