- Recognise that the test includes multiple-choice questions and hazard perception
- Identify basic age requirements for taking the test
- Name at least one official or recommended learning resource
- Identify common road signs and their meanings
- Recognise simple driving rules e.g. speed limits, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings
- Identify examples of road hazards
- Explain why road safety rules are important
