Assessment criteria

(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)

The learner can:

  • Plan at least two bus journeys using Google Maps or similar
  • Correctly identify bus number, departure stop, arrival stop, estimated travel time


  • Follow a planned bus route using digital or printed directions
  • Board and exit the bus safely at the correct stops
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviour while travelling
  • Use the stop button correctly
  • Show awareness of personal safety and ask for help if needed
