- Research how the 3D printer works and identify key features, safety requirements, and common terminology
- Produce a clear and accessible session plan outlining objectives, timeframes, and the resources required
- Describe the essential functions of a 3D printer and explain how to prepare a 3D file for printing
- Demonstrate safe operation of a 3D printer, including start-up, filament loading, file preparation and print monitoring
- Produce at least one example model to use as a teaching resource
- Identify potential hazards and explain how to minimise risks for beginners
