Training opportunities
ASDAN training events provide an introduction to the course, along with guidance on the processes involved, course delivery and moderation, and are delivered by ASDAN’s team of experts.
Please note that all our training events, including webinars, fulfil the mandatory training required to deliver our qualifications.
We also offer online training via INSET.
Training costs and timings
UK training webinars
- £220 for first delegate
- £175 for additional delegates
The webinars will involve two sessions on the same day from 10am to 11.30am and from 1.30pm to 3pm.
You will need an account with ASDAN to book training if you are not already a member. Register as a non-member for free, log in and book your training to reserve your place
Please note that bookings must be made five full working days before the date of the webinar. This allows time to post supporting materials to the nominated address before the webinar date. There is no charge for UK addresses. Centres in Ireland are liable to pay delivery and import costs.
UK in-person training events
- £320 for first delegate
- £280 for additional delegates
International training webinars
- £247 for first delegate
- £195 for additional delegates
The webinars will take place over one three-hour session. Training materials will be sent electronically to delegates.
UK webinar: Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) for ASDAN qualifications
- £75 per delegate
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) for ASDAN qualifications webinars aim to develop awareness and understanding of IQA practice. The training will support you to develop robust IQA practice at your centre, maintain high standards of submission and increase the chances of successful moderation.
Fee for late changes and cancellations
Please note that once webinar places have been booked, any changes or cancellations later than seven days before the event takes place will be subject to an administration fee of £65.
Moving On training
Online training is available for practitioners delivering Moving On, with pre-recorded videos and digital training materials that can be accessed at any time. It provides an introduction to the course, along with guidance on the processes involved, course delivery and certification.
This training course costs £99 per delegate.

INSET
Organising an in-house training day for your centre is an alternative way, alongside our popular webinars and workshops, of ensuring your staff are equipped to deliver the wide range of ASDAN programmes and qualifications on offer. It can also encourage team building and help develop a shared approach to ASDAN within your centre
Our trainers provide training sessions, customised to your needs and circumstances.
Centres are asked to make their booking at least 15 working days in advance of the INSET taking place.

£1,300 - up to 20 delegates
£1,800 - 21+ delegates
Online
Full day:
£1,000 - up to 20 delegates
£1,100 - 21+ delegates
Half day:
£750 - up to 20 delegates
£800 - 21+ delegates
INSET training packs are charged at £15 per person for a standard pack or £24 for packs with additional resources i.e. an INSET covering more than one programme/qualification.
