- Identify and explain at least four key features of an octopus (e.g. intelligence, camouflage, regeneration, ink defence)
- Describe how an octopus adapts to its environment
- Use correct scientific vocabulary such as predator, habitat, mollusc, camouflage and ecosystem
- Explain at least two defence strategies used by octopuses
- Describe how octopus intelligence helps survival
- Take part in a problem-solving activity (e.g. “How would you escape a predator?” scenario)
- Compare octopus problem-solving to human problem-solving
