- Identify at least three national symbols of Wales such as the Welsh dragon, leek or daffodil
- Explain what the symbols represent in Welsh culture
- Compare Welsh national symbols with those from another country
- Identify a range of traditional Welsh foods such as Welsh cakes, bara brith, cawl or Welsh rarebit
- Research how one traditional Welsh food is made
- Discuss which foods they would like to try and explain why
- Produce a recipe card, menu design or short food review
