- Plan the space and how it will be used
- Plan what will be planted and the rotation for this
- Create a rota for the jobs to be completed
- Perform jobs on the rota to maintain the allotment
- Help to tend the plants
- Help with crop rotation
- Support with keeping the allotment free from weeds and pests
