The learner can:
- Identify the PPE required for the project and be able to explain what they are used for
- Take part in a discussion about health and safety in the project
- Complete a risk assessment for the project
- Identify the tools needed for the project
- Identify what the tools will be used for in the project
- Demonstrate safe working practices e.g. tool handling, PPE use
- Take part in training on risk assessment writing
- Complete a project risk assessment including at least five named hazards
- Prepare the project plan for a chosen DIY Task
