The learner can:
- Identify and compare pipes to be used within a plumbing activity
- Compare the materials of plumbing pipes and components
- Identify plumbing components such as elbow joints, T joints, shut off valves and end caps
- Follow step by step instructions e.g. photographic, or diagrammatic, to construct a complex pipe run
- Join a sequence of pipes together using at least five different components
