The learner can:

  • Identify and compare pipes to be used within a plumbing activity
  • Compare the materials of plumbing pipes and components
  • Identify plumbing components such as elbow joints, T joints, shut off valves and end caps
  • Follow step by step instructions e.g. photographic, or diagrammatic, to construct a complex pipe run
  • Join a sequence of pipes together using at least five different components
