The learner can:
- Research and record information about at least three sculptors or sculpture movements
- Describe the materials, techniques and artistic approaches used by different sculptors
- Compare similarities and differences between selected sculptors and their work
- Explain how sculptors use line, shape, form, texture and space to create visual impact
- Follow relevant health and safety procedures when using tools, materials and equipment
- Experiment with a range of sculptural materials, such as clay, recycled materials, wire, cardboard or found objects
- Produce design ideas, sketches and annotations for a planned sculpture
