The learner can:
- Use two different measuring tools to measure length, width, weight or capacity in practical situations on four or five different occasions, e.g. a tape measure to measure a room, kitchen scales to weigh ingredients, a measuring jug to measure water for a recipe, or bathroom scales to weigh a parcel
- Create a specific length or weight of an item to fit in a specific space when asked on three occasions, e.g. cutting ribbon or string to wrap a box, cutting paper to line a drawer or display board, cutting wood to fit a shelf, or weighing out a portion of food to fit a container
