The learner can:

  • Explore creative materials through movement or senses at a shared table or group activity on at least four of five occasions
  • Engage alongside a peer or adult in a shared creative activity e.g., takes a turn, tolerates working at the same table, passes a material, on at least four of five occasions
  • Act on a creative material to make a change e.g., presses, prints, smears, or activates a sound, and reacts to the effect they produce, on at least four of five occasions
  • Show a preference between two creative options e.g., looks longer at, reaches for, or moves towards one colour, image, sound, or texture over another, on at least four of five occasions
  • Interact with a variety of materials or tools at a shared table alongside peers on at least four of five occasions
  • Add a physical component to a group project e.g., sticking a shape, pressing a clay model into place, or applying a stamp, on at least four of five occasions
  • Make a clear choice between two visual elements e.g., selecting a colour scheme or background image, to decide the final look of their team's project
