The learner can:

  • Produce a plan for completing at least five household tasks during a specified 48-hour period
  • Identify the equipment and safety considerations for each task
  • Complete at least five different household tasks with minimal supervision
  • Use at least two household appliances safely and appropriately
  • Consider at least four simulated household problems, including one emergency situation
  • Identify the main risk and an appropriate response for each situation
  • Explain at least one action that could make each situation more dangerous
  • Identify who they would contact for support and justify their decision in at least two situations
