At ASDAN, we believe that young people should have a meaningful role in shaping the education, opportunities and support that affect their lives. That's why we're delighted to announce the launch of the ASDAN youth council.
The youth council will bring together passionate young people from across the ASDAN community to share their experiences, influence our work and help ensure that learner voice sits at the heart of everything we do.
Members of the youth council will have the opportunity to:
- share ideas and feedback on ASDAN's courses
- help shape future projects and initiatives
- develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- represent the views of learners from a wide range of educational settings
- make a positive difference to the future of ASDAN and the learners we support
The youth council reflects our commitment to engaging, elevating and empowering learners with diverse needs. By creating a dedicated space for young people to contribute their perspectives, we can continue to build qualifications and certificated courses that respond to the real experiences and ambitions of learners.
We are now inviting expressions of interest from young people who would like to become founding members of the ASDAN youth council. Whether you're keen to influence education, build your confidence, develop new skills or simply make your voice heard, we'd love to hear from you.
