Special interest groups
ASDAN’s special interest groups provide a space for practitioners to come together, exchange ideas and explore shared challenges. Each session focuses on a specific area of practice and encourages open discussion and collaboration.
This term’s programme includes groups focusing on:
- Careers, education and work-based learning
- Breaking the cycle – can education prevent reoffending?
- Alternative provision
- Supporting learners with SEND, including MLD, SLD and PMLD
To support productive discussion, we ask attendees to choose the group most relevant to their role or setting. Sessions are designed to be interactive, and participants are encouraged to contribute and engage with peers. Training
Alongside our special interest groups, ASDAN offers a programme of training events to support confident, high-quality delivery across our programmes and qualifications.
