New film showcases benefits of My Independence programme

A new film from ASDAN demonstrates how our new preparing for adulthood programme, My Independence, will transform outcomes for learners with SEND.

The course is structured around the four PfA (preparing for adulthood) pathways (friends, relationships and community; employment; good health; independent living) and provides the most relevant programme for young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) and education, health and care plans, fully aligning to their educational needs.

ASDAN's My Independence video explains how the programme has been designed to help young people with SEND develop a breadth of outcomes required to live independently.

My Independence involves four courses for learners with a wide range of needs including PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties), SLD (severe learning difficulties), and MLD (moderate learning difficulties).
