The standards with guidance is a vital document that describes the standards candidates must meet for each CoPE assessment unit and provides guidance to support these standards at Levels 1, 2 and 3.
All centres registered for CoPE are issued with a copy. This resource is also available for members approved to deliver CoPE to download from the resources section below.

This student book can be used to provide the curriculum/challenges for CoPE and AoPE at Level 3 and is provided as part of the CoPE/AoPE candidate registration fee.
Please note: You should only use the shop to purchase a maximum of five student books for staff reference or training purposes. Books for learners are included as part of the candidate registration fee and should be selected as part of the learner registration process. To obtain books for your students, your centre must first be approved to deliver CoPE/AoPE and you should then create a cohort and register your learners.

Candidates should be registered as you begin the qualification. As a guide, for a full year course you should register candidate numbers by the end of October, and for roll-on roll-off courses, registration should be completed within a month of candidates starting.
The candidate registration fee covers the administrative costs of registering the candidate for the qualification, co-ordination of moderation, student book and awarding/certification.
