ASDAN to launch renewed Personal Effectiveness Qualification (PEQ) suite
We have been redeveloping our most popular qualifications in collaboration with our members and we’re combining them into ASDAN’s renewed Personal Effectiveness Qualification (PEQ) suite. We are delighted to offer a selection of one-hour free information sessions throughout May, June and July for you to learn more about our updated qualification suite.
The current versions of the Certificate and Award of Personal Effectiveness (C/AoPE) and the Personal and Social Effectiveness qualifications (PSE) are due to expire over the coming months. The current versions of these qualifications are due to expire over the coming months and will be replaced with updated versions and will be available from January 2026.
Our updated qualifications suite includes Award, Extended Award and Certificate-sized qualifications at Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
ASDAN’s renewed Personal Effectiveness Qualifications focus on developing skills in learning, communication, decision making, critical thinking, and teamwork. We've now introduced the development of self-awareness and wellbeing to our six core skills. Learners will continue to demonstrate these skills through real-world situations and challenges.
Our updated qualification suite has been designed to develop these six core skills through a structured yet flexible curriculum. ASDAN’s pedagogical approach emphasises iterative and co-constructed learning, goal setting and reflection, helping learners achieve their goals and recognise their own growth.
ASDAN meets learners where they are. Our renewed qualifications aim to better support learners' aspirations with tailored, adaptable pathways to success. We’re excited to share more information with you and hope to see you at a PEQ briefing.
