Accelerating Progress
About this course
What is it?
ASDAN’s Accelerating Progress courses support young people in building the essential skills needed to make progress in English and mathematics at GCSE.
Written by experienced practising specialists, the courses consist of a series of challenges supported by high-quality resources. These materials can be used to support whole class teaching or by learners working independently.
Learners complete engaging challenges in the learner workbook and gather any additional evidence in their portfolio. The workbooks, created for 2020, include space for tutors to log feedback for each completed challenge with a record of progress page to demonstrate students’ progress throughout the course.
Please note that it is no longer possible to register learners for Accelerating Progress English or Mathematics on ASDAN’s eportfolio platform.
ASDAN plans to review its Accelerating Progress courses during 2026-2027, with a view to updating the content and making these courses available via its new digital learning platform, Equitas.
