Equitas: ASDAN’s new digital learning platform launches with updated Short Courses
We are excited to share that Equitas, ASDAN’s new digital learning platform, has now gone live with a selection of members ahead of a wider release. These first users are helping us test the platform in a live environment before access becomes available to all members from 10 November 2025.
Equitas has been designed to make it easier for educators and learners to complete ASDAN courses, capture evidence, and track progress - all in one place. It marks an important step in enhancing the learner experience and supporting flexible delivery across a range of settings.
Updated Short Courses designed for skills development
At launch, Equitas will feature 11 updated Short Courses, each refreshed to provide a more guided and engaging learning experience.
These courses fully embed ASDAN’s six skills - Learning, Communicating, Decision making, Thinking, Team working and Self-awareness - helping learners develop essential life skills alongside their subject knowledge.
Equitas makes these Short Courses more flexible and accessible, offering:
-
digital challenge content
-
space for learners to upload evidence
-
downloadable challenge sheets for use offline
-
tools for educators to monitor progress and personalise learning
Short Courses continue to be portfolio-based programmes, recognising 10–60 hours of activity and skills development. They are widely used with learners aged 13+ across both formal and non-formal educational settings.
