Autumn term moderation

Qualifications

Moderation is available to book for the following ASDAN qualifications:

The cut-off for booking qualifications moderation in this academic year is Tuesday 31 October 2023. Bookings made after this date are not guaranteed and will incur late fees.  

Qualifications moderation can be requested for any date and will be accommodated where possible. If unavailable, ASDAN will select an alternative date as close as possible to the original request, subject to availability of External Quality Assurers.

Programmes

 ASDAN are running a series of moderation meetings for the following programmes:   

Preparing for Adulthood programmes (New Horizons, Transition Challenge, Towards Independence, Workright)  
Personal Development Programmes (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

Meetings are running between Monday 27 November and Tuesday 5 December at locations across the UK. You can view the schedule of schedule of dates and venues, which also includes the booking deadlines.  

Attending a moderation meeting is a great way to connect with ASDAN members, see the work of their learners and share best practice.

The option of postal moderation is also available. Learners must be registered by 23 October and there is a fee of £45 per sampled portfolio.

On Friday 27 October we are refreshing the cohort and moderation pages on the ASDAN website, with the aim of improving members’ experience of interacting with these processes. If you would like to book your moderation this term using the current system, please complete this action before 27 October.
