Higher Project Qualification Level 2
About this course
Launching September 2026
ASDAN’s new Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) is a Level 2 project-based qualification designed to help learners take ownership of a substantial project on a topic of the learner’s choosing, from planning and research through to delivery, presentation and evaluation.
HPQ develops confidence, independence and practical transferable skills including project management, communication, decision making, research, problem solving and review. It also embeds ASDAN’s six core skills, supporting learners to apply their learning in meaningful contexts and prepare for future study, work and progression.
HPQ will sit alongside ASDAN’s new Level 1 Foundation Project Qualification (FPQ) and existing Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), creating a clear progression route from Level 1 to Level 3.
Read more about the development of HPQ and FPQ. Further information will also be shared ahead of launch.
